| Product description | - Walnut is one of the most popular trees around the world. Orchardists value it for its exceptional longevity - it can live up to 500 years. Based on circulating legends, it was considered a royal plant - King Solomon's diet was based mainly on the nuts of this tree. But in fact, the most interesting story concerns the Polish naming. The world-famous "walnut" in our country appears as walnut, even though it does not originate from Italy at all. These valuable snacks arrived in our country from the southern parts of the Carpathian Mountains lying within Romania.
- The historic land stretching up the mountain chain to the lower part of the Danube River was called Wallachia - hence the name of the walnut as we commonly know it. Depending on how it is grown, it bears its first fruits after 4-5 or 8-10 years and can enjoy them for hundreds of years. Walnuts, because of their shape, which deceptively resembles the human brain, have for centuries been attributed with extraordinary effects. Indeed, they are one of the most valuable nuts. They contain a great deal of vitamins and minerals that have a positive effect on the entire human body. They are added to cakes, desserts and dry meat dishes to complement them with a wonderful nutty flavor.
